Working as a Compositor on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with Atomic Fiction was a full-circle moment, contributing to a universe that first inspired me as a kid. I was brought on as part of a fast-paced “911” push for the Darth Vader reshoots, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. My work focused on detailed blue screen keying and seamlessly integrating the CG environment and live-action elements, relying on strong compositing fundamentals like multi-pass workflows, color matching, edge refinement, and cleanup. It was a demanding but rewarding experience on a project I genuinely care about… and one I’d jump at the chance to return to. Call me ILM!!! 😉
